I currently the communications specialist for a growing research department within the University of Texas at Austin. The Center for Identity is focused on privacy, security, and identity issues across the globe. I have helped establish and grow the Center for Identity's social media presence and e-marketing. I also write for the organization.

Before my big move to Austin, I was the web editor, shop editor and social media manager for Boca Raton and Delray Beach magazine. After graduating from University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Journalism, I became self-taught in HTML and web design. In 2012, I helped lead the redesign and relaunch of Bocamag.com with a mobile website. In 2013, I was awarded first place by the Florida Magazine Association for “Best Overall Online Presence.”

I am also a freelance music journalist. When I'm not at a computer, I can be found permanently damaging my eardrums at major music festivals and concerts around the country. I currently contribute to IndieShuffle.com and I have served as an official blogger for SunFest Music Festival for the past four seasons.
